What a lovely little cafe that seems to be very popular with the friendly locals (which I take as a glowing endorsement). The food is cooked to order so please take this into consideration & allow the time needed for an order to be completed. I didn't eat here but my family did & they said the food quality was high. The bacon & sausage looked (& apparently tasted) locally sourced from a butcher. The portions were generous & good value. I had an Americano coffee & again, it was very good quality. The staff were friendly & service was good. The cafe had a good atmosphere & I loved hearing the Welsh language being spoken all around me. The goods in the bakery also looked delicious & I would have loved to buy some bread, but sadly my gluten intolerance prevented it- Service

Fantastic breakfast with proper thick cut back, only £5.30 and very friendly staff. Highly recommend, it's easy to understand why this place is filled with friendly locals.
Excellent old fashioned bakery and cafe. Friendly service, super clean and excellent food at extremely reasonable prices. Especially recommend the ham, egg and chips, fish and chips and custard slices.

Love this place. I have been working around the corner for the last few weeks and popping in here to buy lunch most days. It's a very old fashioned place but in a good way. It feels like time stood still in the 70s. Sandwiches /baguettes are fresh, portions are big and prices very reasonable. Some of the cakes are amazing and the scotch eggs are freshly made every day and deserve a special mention..
Best breakfast for a long time. Great coffee too.

Called in for coffee and buns with my husband and young son whilst passing through town. The lady who served us was lovely, chatting to us whilst she took our order. Nothing was too much trouble. Very reasonable prices too. Would definitely recommend and would visit again if in the area.
Mark Lane has to be the best breakfast in Lampeter. Quality Welsh Brew tea, enough food to fill the plate and not expensive. The smell of fresh bread adds to the experience.
Lovely relaxing cafe, great breakfast, friendly staff, nice local atmosphere.
